Beneath the Dying Sun

Beneath the Dying Sun is a gothic musical project with a debut CD coming out sometime in 2006. The group is made up of Mike Rand(Zero Tapestry) and Paul Gilbert (misery.inc - us). This project has been on the back burner for many years. By late 2005 this project will be in full production. Look for a release sometime in mid-2006. Paul and Mike both grew up in SLC, Utah and were in many bands together. Although, Mike currently lives in Seattle and Paul still lives in SLC they have maintained a friendship and musical collaboration throughout the years, culiminating in Beneath the Dying Sun.

Leadgem

Jim Deals solo project, where sounds ensnared by machines could be warped, reprocessed and re-presented as something resembling music, or not. Look for a release sometime in 2006. In the mean time head over to Mixposure.com to hear a few tracks.

Sub.Con

Sub.Con is short for Subconscious Conversations. This is a group of improvising musicians, including Jim Deal(Zero Tapestry), Mike Rand(Zero Tapestry), Jeff Mueller(Xaxis Wye, Noancer), Scott "McIvyr" Bennett, and other musicians. The improv group has been around in one form or another for about ten years. The concept behind this group is to push the envelope of spontaneous musical conversations, by exploring musical textures and breaking sonic boundaries in the search for a more enlightened form of communication. The debut CD from Sub.Con is expected sometime in 2006.

Orchestra of the Common Place

The Orchestra of the Common Place, is a musical experiment in natural sounds used in a musical manner. Basically, that boils down to pots, pans, glasses filled with water and run through expensive reverb units and any other manner of "Common" household items to create a unique and inspiring collage of musical parts that combine to create a symphony of domestic appliances.
